Absolutely and I have written articles on each topic. Having said that I feel that this post is a realistic cap of what social media is to the auto industry. You do bring up a valid point though and if somebody reads this article only they can be lead to think that social marketing is easy. Well, it is in a way but it most definitely can be time consuming, especially if done incorrectly.

As far as blog content, they should never run out. In fact I did a webinar on blogging and gave a ton of ideas as well as brought up the point of re-purposing. Tommy, thank you so much for commenting, you thoughts and ideas are ALWAYS welcome here, even if you disagree with me.

I think you have the right idea, but an article like is actually very dangerous to the search, social, and online marketing industry as a whole.

Boiling it down this much gives the appearance that this stuff is really easy. By saying do this and e v e n t u a l l y it will work gives a very twisted impression to businesses.

Because what happens when they run out of blog content in two weeks? Or when their fans all hide them from their newsfeed because all they're doing is posting links to their blog, and asking irrelevant questions?

Each section here deserves to be at least it's own article and at most a series of articles that give a realistic impression of what social marketing is really about.

That way you're able to make yourself top of mind as it relates to being the auto dealership social media guy.
