    Great post. I'm seeing some car sales people, real estate agents and even property developers using this approach AND they're winning. Some are winning big.

    • Thank you for the comment Shane! I agree, right now we are in the beginning stages of this whole Social Media thing and much like SEO, when it first came out, the people who are in it early and really get it will be the ones to reap the biggest benefits.

  2. Something I promote to my team is that you cannot fight the technology. If you fear it, embrace one small piece of it and run with it. You do not have to take on all of it at once. Just run a FB page and stay in touch with all of your customers that way. K.I.S.S.

  3. I absolutely agree with you! After posting this I was a little worried that a salesperson would read it and think, "That's way too much work, I don't have time for that!"

    I think it best to start with FB as well, then evolve from there. I know it's not for every sales person but a blog can be a very valuable tool for ANY type of sales, in the car business or not.
